ATTENTION

Before taking the configuration process to the next level, take a look at our tips in order to measure in the best way possible!

The window or door opening, where the insect screen is going to be placed, has to be measured as accurately as possibile. Keep also in mind that the expansion mounting system allows you to balance small inaccuracies in measurements or cutting (up to about 1.5 cm in width and 1 cm in height).
This brings great benefits especially when the walls are slightly “out of square”.

With regards to height, take measurements from the inside upper wall to the inside lower wall. We suggest measuring to the very right and left of the window opening. As regards to width, take measurements from the inside right wall to the inside left wall. We suggest taking measurements in the upper, central and lower part of the window opening.

Besides height, it is also necessary to measure the window opening width both at the top and at the bottom of the wall.
Attention: These measures are meant to be taken inside the window opening!

If, when measuring in different points of the window opening, the dimensions are different, it will be necessary to enter the smallest measure during the configuration phase.

Summing everything up…

To proceed with the configuration process, you need the following information:

  • The window opening width (measured in two points as shown in the drawing);
  • The window opening height;
  • The space for the cassette (at least 46mm for the vertical insect screen; at least 60mm for the horizontal insect screen with low bottom track).
