Our new generation of expansion insect screens is designed to be installed without making any hole in the wall. That is possible thanks to a simple Allen key, which is provided with the installation kit. With the expansion fastening, the use of dowels, drills and screws will no longer be necessary!
Furthermore, the fiberglass mesh of the insect screen ensures a unique resistance, making this product effective in every environment.
Thanks to the expansion system and the experience gained in the sector over the last 30 years, we use profiles and components with a greater thickness than the ones of common insect screens on the market. This ensures greater strength and solidity of our insect screen.
The aluminum profiles and elements of the insect screen are painted through a powder coating process made directly on the aluminum that guarantees exceptional performance. VERTICAL ROLL-UP INSECT SCREENS
The expansion compensate for some possible mistakes made while taking measurements, while cutting (up to 2 cm in width and 1 cm in height) or for “out-of-square” wall. The minimum space required for the assembly of the insect screen cassette in the window opening is 46 mm.
The insect screen is provided with telescopic caps, which are placed at the extremity and make the assembly easier thanks to the springs, which temporaly lock the cassette on the inside of the window opening. This allows you to complete the assembly process without any worries!
The insect screen is provided with a self-adjustable brake as well, which is applied to the structure and allows you to better control the roll-up speed of the insect screen. In fact, the brake encourages a more energetic braking action during the insect screen initial opening process, action which will then decrease, as the insect screen rolls up inside the cassette.
HORIZONTAL ROLL-UP INSECT SCREENS
The expansion compensate for some possible mistakes made while taking measurements, while cutting (up to 2 cm in width and 1 cm in height) or for “out-of-square” wall. The minimum space required for the assembly of the insect screen cassette in the window opening is 46 mm.
In the configurator, it is possible to choose the option “low bottom track” that allows you to have an only 17mm-thick walking bottom track. Therefore, the track does not hinder the passage, as it might happen with the thicker high bottom track. In the first case, the minimum space required to assembly the insect screen cassette in the window opening is 60 mm.
The quick release button makes the opening of the insect screen easier, while the self-adjustable brake permits you to controll the roll-up speed of the insect screen. In fact, the brake causes a more energetic braking action during the insect screen initial opening process, which will then decrease as the insect screen rolls up in the cassette.
The horizontal insect screens are also provided with a magnet with telescopic compensation profile, which allows a perfect matching of the magnets, even if there is an “out-of-square” situation in the window opening.
